Favourite places we visited thornwick bay, Scarborough and went to sea life centre, Miniature train ride and the land train, lots of fun making memories on the beach meeting up with extended family, great weather too which is also beneficial, beautifal lodge in a fab location. Nellys Nest is wonderful.We cant wait to come back.
Fantastic break away, we loved the walking, walking and walking. Ideal place for dog owners Daisey was hardly on her lead.We will be back very soon.
Relaxing stay making memories with the family. Flamborough beach was stunning.Bridlington wildlife park is worth a visit if you have young children.Sewerby is nice to walk around and cisit the Zoo.

The lodge is wonderful, and Fraisthorpe beach is good to walk to.We visited Bridlington, Whirtbu and Filey, and enjoyed chilling out.
The Ship inn is really good and we recommend.
Beautiful Bungalow, Quiet, relaxing and comfortable, lovely private garden. plenty of walks and places to visit. Black Bull pub was excellent for sunday lunch.We watched Films on Netflix.Even Though it as school holidays, the beach was quiet for a daily stroll.
We visited, Scarborough Castle, North and South Landing at Flamborough, Filet and Filey Brig.

Location was perfect, easy to get to local attractions like Bempton Cliffs, Gently stroll through thgrounds to the lovely links golf course and club house who served a great breakfast and lunch. Easy walk to Sewerby Hall, along the cliffs and down to the beach although alot of steps. Very clean and comfortable lodge we will definitely be booking again.
Great location to visit my parents but give them space by staying here. Super clean well equipped lodge.Will 100% be back, as will be visiting family. Nice to see all the wildlife roaming around.
Lots of beautiful walks in this spectacular area. We have really made the most of enjoying these special surroundings, we loved it. Lovely homely lodge, perfect location. All of Roccos Lodges are lovely!Go to The Old Forge for a great dining experiance, the ship offers food and drink and the Martonian offers good food, value for money and has Sporys TV.
We enjoyed walks into the old town of Bridlington, walks along the beach and the drive to Cayton Bay.
Great Stay, The area is lovely with loads to see and do.We enjoyed the beach, the rock pools, Sewerby hall and the Zoo.
We recommend Flamborough to see the Seals and Danes Dyke for beautiful beach and Woodland walks.

Booked monday -friday break to enjoy the dog friendly comforts of Roccos Retreat. Lyla has travelled all the way from Melbourne Australia to live here. So we knew she would enjoy the beach here at Barmston. We have loved walking her here. She loved going in the sea we also took her into Bridlington and she loved running wild through the fields. Beautiful weekend away with the kids and dogs.The lodge is very well equipped. The hosts have thought of everything you might need while you are there. Very spacious and clean. The bath and the shower were both very good. The site is in a lovely location and being able to walk around Sewerby Hall grounds next door was brilliant. The kids loved it.The host is lovely we didnt meet him in person but over spoke and text and he was very helpful and quick at responding.

We absolutely loved Roccos retreat, the bungalow was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Its a lovely quiet area with an enclosed garden, which is ideal for our dog.The designated parking space was a great bonus.
We loved the beach on the doorstep and it was a great location to explore the surrounding areas.

Thank you for a lovely stay. The lodge is so well furnished, clean and comfortable. We really appreciated the warm and cosy feeling inside when we first arrived soaking wet and cold from a bad rain storm.Fortunately the weather improved and we were able to sit out on the decking with a cup of tea and enjoy the peaceful location even during the evening.
Sadly our short break didnt last long enough and hopefully will be able to come back again soon.
What a lovely lodge, home from home, felt very relaxed, Evelyn had lots of room to play.Kitchen well equipped, we ate in as Evelyn is a fussy eater.Discounted golf if you want to play and great walks early morning, with Deer about.

First stay in this lodge having previously visited the bungalow at Barmston(Many Times!). All of our stays have been great, with well placed and well stocked accommadation, which is clean and peaceful. The location here is excellent and we really enjoyed beong next to Sewerby hall and the Jubilee woods at the gate perfect for the dogs. We got absolutely soaked on tuesday in the non stop downpour but that didnt put us off explorin.Thankfully though the rest of the stay was kind with all sunshine. It was handy to have the decking and chairs to sit out and relax on.Thanks for another great staycation, needles to say we will be back.

Just had a lovely weekend away staying in a smashing Lodge in Sewerby through Roccos Holiday Let’s ( thanks Debbie Miller ) Had a wander through the beautiful walled garden at Sewerby Hall where they had on display lots amazing Lego sculptures. Me & Stevie tried desperately to pop the “fur-kids” heads through the wooden cutout (like you do 🤣) they were having none of it – spoil sports. Also went to Filey, Brid & Scarborough – fab times 👫🐶🦊 Ste

Had a lovely stay at the Lodge, it’s perfect if you want somewhere peaceful as a base to explore the East Yorkshire coast. Tony was really helpful and quick to respond to my questions prior to check in. Definitely recommend and would book the same lodge if we visit the area again.

What a beautiful lodge. Very comfortable and homely. Settees that you can really relax into. I liked the fact it is carpeted throughout. Lovely bed linen. Good thread count!! A good sized dining table too. I don’t have a bath in my flat so I took advantage of using the tub every evening. Really good sized deck. Table with six chairs and also a large settee with removable cushions. Lovely area, right next to Sewerby Hall and gardens. Friendly neighbours and perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. All complete with tea, coffee and sugar, cleaning products and loo roll available, although I did take my own! I will certainly be booking again for another break here, it’s just wonderful.

A great few days away, good weather added to the enjoyment. Our second year old grandson loved the the decked area. Big and safe as did the dogs . The lodge is big and comfortable and located in an excellent spot adjacent to the park.

Its our first visit to Barmston. What a beautiful quaint place, we love it here. The bungalow is stunning, clean and tidy with everything you need. Charlie loved the enclosed garden and settled here nicely. The walks along the cliff tops are beautiful. The Black bull pub is nice with lovely food. A pub to avoid is the board in at Skipsea. Poor service and food.We have had an amazing time here and would definately come back and recommend to family and friends.

Had a wonderful extended weekend break here at the lodge and crammed in tons of lovely activities, over the duration. Beach trips, power boat/ pirate ship trips, crab fishing, haunted house and pirate golf amongst other things. Perfect lodge and perfect spot to walk through the picturesque hall grounds of Sewerby to catch the land train down into Brid. Lovely beaches, Danes Dyke for fossils, loads to do in town.
First visit to this lovely home, will not be the last! The village is gorgeous. loved the little old church and found the skull and crossbones. Visited the lighthouse at Flamborough + found the drinking dinosaur. Saw seals on the rocks. Visited Bempton cliffs. Bridlington is lovely and the beach walks are stunning.Thank you Tony and debs

Hi Tony Loved our recent stay in your lodge. It was ready for us at 4pm on Friday and spotlessly clean. Your directions and the info you supplied before our arrival was spot on and helped us get through Sewerby hall gardens easily to get to the village etc. There was plenty of room for 5 of us in the lodge and the location was super peaceful. A fantastic bungalow in a great location, the bungalow has everything you need and the garden is fully enclosed and a good size which is great for the dogs. One must do if you stay here is walk along Barmston beach to The Cow Shed for a coffee & cake, it’s fantastic. This is one of the best we’ve stayed in & we’ll definitely be back.
We have just returned from a fantastic week at Roccos Lodge. It has everything you need in the lodge and is in a beautiful setting. There are lots of walks and only a short drive to some other beautiful dog friendly beaches. The outdoor enclosed veranda was perfect to keep our toddler and dog safe and had plenty of comfortable seating.We would highly recommend this lodge for families and can’t wait to return.

Both Angela and myself have had the most amazing time in Rocco’s Lodge with our two dogs Chester & Bailey, it was all ready for us on our early arrival at 2pm to move in and was absolutely spotlessly clean.The lodge is a real home from home with everything you’d possibly need, the large deck area at the front is great for sitting outside and relaxing as it’s so peaceful and very quiet.It’s exactly what we both needed to get away from work and recharge our batteries and we’ll definitely be looking at visiting again.Thanks to Tony for everything from booking to our stay he was just an email away and was in touch on our first night to make sure we’d arrived safely and everything was ok, it’s those little touches that make your stay enjoyable.

The lodge is very spacious and has everything you need. It is very clean and the beds were the comfiest ever! Location was great for seasides and the walks were so lovely so if you take dogs it’s perfect. Morrisons nearby too. Can’t fault anything, 5 star from us.

Had a fabulous weekend here at Rocco’s Lodge It is literally home from home. There is everything you need and more. 5* plus for absolutely everything. It’s in a perfect location for a 30min walk into Brid or take the land train. Literally a stone throw away and your in Sewerby Hall gardens. Highly recommend this beautiful place. It is also dog friendly. We could live here don’t want to go home

What a lovely clean and modern spacious well placed lodge. We had lots of adventures with our 2 French bulldogs. And plenty of fresh air and walks for ourselves. Would 100% be booking again at some point in the future

Had a brilliant 4 night stay at Dali’s Den. The lodge was lovely, clean and had all the amenities needed. The dogs were catered for too, with dog bowls, and an enclosed decking for them to have a run around on. The beds are so comfortable, and lovely linen too! We slept soundly. It’s in a great setting, nice and quiet with close access to the coastal path. We had a great stay, and would definitely book again. Many thanks 😊

Came to celebrate husbands birthday.Visited Fraisthorpe beach, Hornsea,Filey and Bridlington.Lovely beaches, but the best one was Hunmanton gap. Pub is very friendly and welcomes dogs. Had an indian takeaway from spices 4 u, that was lovely too. Lovely cosy stay. Thank-you from all of us
Had a fabulous last minute weekend in Rocco’s Lodge. Spacious, homely and with everything you’d need for a fab getaway. A perfect location too, loads of dog walks, Sewerby Hall a spit away and a great pub within walking distance… not to mention the beaches and Bridlington on your doorstep. Highly recommended!!

We stayed at Rocco’s Lodge between Christmas and New Year and had a lovely, relaxing break with our teenage son and daughter. The lodge was spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything we could imagine to make our stay feel just like home from home. The location was perfect, ideal for walks with our very energetic cocker spaniel puppy, both woodland and beach on your doorstep, with Bridlington a 20 min stroll away on the coastal path. The Ship Inn is dog friendly and a 5 min walk away and the staff were lovely although we were a little disappointed that they stopped serving food after 2.30pm on the days we were there, I guess that was due to the time of year as it was fairly quiet. I would highly recommend Rocco’s, Tony was a great host and just a phone call away when we needed him, we will certainly be back for another holiday with our pooch!
The cabin is absolutely gorgeous with everything sparkly clean and perfect. The location is really good with access to Sewerby park, the cliff tops and an easy walk down to the beach and into Bridlington. We stayed at the lodge to visit some relatives and do a Christmas celebration, the lodge was that lovely we changed over to having dinner there instead of our relatives house. The lodge is beautifully decorated with all then amenities you could wish for. Dog friendly for our little border terrier. We needed to communicate with the owners and they responded immediately, and were fantastic. We will definitely be back at Dali’s den. Thank you x

Great lodge, spotlessly clean and modern, everything you need a real home from home feel. Location is brilliant, peaceful and only a 2 minute walk into the grounds of Sewerby, which is great. The Ship Inn pub is only a 5 minute walk away it is dog freindly and a lovely pub. The walk along the coastline into Bridlington is stunning.We had a brilliant time and can’t wait to return. x
We have just returned from a wonderful week staying in Dali’s Den, which is immaculate and has everything you could need, making it a real home from home. Fantastic location in a quiet setting, we saw Deer from the lounge window! But accessible for Sewerby village and Bridlington links golf course , we look forward to returning.

Lovely well equipped Lodge, had everything in it you could ask for. Great when husband and wife can have seperate bathrooms (bonus) Bella loved chasing the squirrels in Sewerby Hall gardens. The lodge is so warm and you can not hear a thing outside when you close the doors. We had some great walks and easy to get to nearby seaside towns.Loved the beach would love to come back

Such a great location and the bungalow was so lovely and very homely. All of us enjoyed our stay and the beach was in walking distance and driving into Bridlington only a 10 minute drive. Just returned home from a week in the lodge at Sewerby. Had a wonderful week, the lodge is fantastic, lovely and peaceful but on the doorstep of Sewerby Hall and Bridlington. Wow what can I say. An absolute beauty of a place! Just returning from a week long stay and it was absolutely perfect. The bungalow comes with literally everything you need. Everything inside is clean, modern and good quality. The garden is perfect and equipped with bbq, loungers tables and chairs to relax and enjoy the peaceful haven. The location couldn’t be better with only a few miles from all the different areas around the beautiful east coast. Totally fallen in love with Roccos Bungalow. Can’t wait to book again. Roccos retreat Bamston:Cottage is a wonderful relaxing place to stay. It is immaculate and has all the high class amenities anyone on holiday could want. A beautiful beach is a short walk away. There is a great pub and restaurant just down the road. Have already booked to return.
We had a fantastic relaxing weekend staying at Rocco’s retreat which is a lovely modern and fully equipped bungalow nestled amongst 6 bungalows and within very easy access of the beach.

We recently stayed here and the bungalow was impeccable. Very clean and tidy with a nice touch of a hand sanitizer dispenser as you entered the property. The log burner was a fabulous bonus for us and made for a cosy evening with my other half. Very well equipped and so close to the beach. All in all our stay was fantastic and we will definitely be back. Can’t wait to use the lovely garden in the summer!!
We have stayed here in the past.The improvements that have been done make it an even better place to stay. the Golf clubhouse abd Seabirds restaurant at Flamborough§ are great places to eat.
We had a fabulous time at Barmston bungalow last year, so much we stayed twice, & looking forward to later this year. Our dogs loved it, they were so at home , we loved how secure the garden is for them also. The log fire was amazing we didn’t want to leave. Extremely close to the beach which is beautiful, and some great walks around also. It was very peaceful, and when in the garden we could hear the sea. O and that sea air is so refreshing. The bungalow was extremely clean, with hand sanitizer as you go in. Everything we needed in the bungalow, down to the ice tray for our Baileys.
